The Community Life Music Studio trains students to use their God-given musical gifts to honor God and bless others.

100% of tuition for music lessons supports Community Life, a 501c3 non-profit inspiring Christians to answer Jesus’ prayer for unity as they meet their community’s needs together.

Teacher

Lessons are taught by Rev. Dr. Shawn Allen.

Performer

• performed music for 40 years
• performed on more than a dozen instruments

Composer, Arranger

• composed and/or arranged music in many styles and settings, including choral, orchestral, jazz, blues, funk, reggae, pop, latin, gospel, & bluegrass

Producer and Recording Artist

• produced music events for more than 15 years
• recorded and distributed 3,000 copies of his Jazz Nativity Album in several countries

Educator

• earned a Ph.D. that explored the intersection of pedagogy, musicology, and missiology
• has been teaching private lessons for 30 years and leading ensembles for more than 25 years
• taught music at Palm Beach Atlantic University 
• trained musicians/worship teams and performed in Albania, Macedonia, Panama, & USA
